Parent Teacher Organization

Our PTO is very active and has BIG plans to make this the BEST year yet!  The John Sevier Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization is an active group in the life of the school. Comprised of teachers, parents, and staff, we work throughout the year to raise money and give support to JSE. 
 
While fundraising is our primary focus, we also spend time helping with school events such as picture days, field days, and teacher appreciation.  The monies raised by the PTO go to purchase items that could not be funded within the school's budget.  In the past, the PTO has purchased playground equipment, sidewalk awnings, and new technology for the classroom.
 
We welcome all volunteers.  Additionally, for $10 per family, you can join the PTO and show your support for the children, staff, and entire school. Please contact us through the school office (865-983-8551) with any questions you may have and we hope that you find an opportunity to volunteer your time and energy sometime during this school year.
